About Academy Of Martial Arts Inc

At Academy Of Martial Arts Inc, we offer martial arts instruction for adults, children and advanced practitioners of ITF-style Taekwon-Do. We create a fun atmosphere for students of all ages interested in learning this martial art.

Taekwon-Do is perfect for people of all ages and its students practice well late into life. Children and families are our most devoted students. In fact, we have multiple families at our school with multiple black belts among them. Mothers train with sons, daughters with fathers and we even teach third and fourth generation Taekwon-Do practitioners!

Our staff of knowledgeable instructors has over 170 years of combined experience teaching Taekwon-Do. Here you don’t get to teach just because you have a Black Belt, there are stringent training and continuing education requirements. Many in our Faculty have advanced academic or professional degrees and most have advanced degrees in Taekwon-Do extending well beyond First-Degree Black Belt. We are diverse as to age and gender on our Faculty, and our school is likewise diverse with a welcoming atmosphere for women and girls as well as men and boys.

 

The Head of School is a 9th Degree Grand Master, certified as an International Instructor by the International Taekwon-Do Federation, as a Class A Master Instructor by the United States Taekwon-Do Federation, and an internationally published author in the field who studied personally with Grand Masters Son, Doc sung, Choi, Hong hi, and C.E. Sereff. 

 

Faculty include multiple Seventh Dan Masters and other advanced practitioners. Many have been with the school for many years, many have had their own children and grandchildren study with us.
